It was established in 1994 to prepare the teachers who were secondary school graduates to obtain BA in Education so as to work in basic and secondary education. The study is either formal or by affiliation. The faculty awards Bachelor (honors) degree of in eight semesters and BA (honor) basic education, Bachelor of Education in science for in the specializations of Biology as well as Mathematics. In the Arts section the faculty awards the Bachelor of Arts and Education, (Honors) in a major (English or Arabic) and another minor subject (Islamic studies, geography or history). The faculty allocates the largest proportion of students to teachers working in the field education.
